They clearly get the effects from it, and it would be cumbersome to carry around the bottle/can with them as they train zombies around for hours

Let’s be honest, with the amount of 115 in those drinking the whole thing would have very adverse effects to your health
Temporary_Finish_242
If they drank the whole thing they would probably die. Speed cola literally has liquid meth in it and they are all probably radioactive or toxic in some way.
MonsterHunter6353
They’re watching their calorie intake
Ancient_Amphibian233
If you drink more than once it will become vanguard and it won’t be good anymore.

Cause who wants to drink fermented herring dipped in cat piss?
Dredd501
Because there are game designers, and they didn’t want to have an extended animation sequence during a fast paced combat scenario.

They did that to deceive Monty. Dr. Monty developed the perk bottles to provide the crew with element 115. They always just pretended to drink something so Monty would give them the effect without them having to take in an unnecessary amount of 115. Unfortunately, the plan didn’t work out because the entire crew became addicted to chewing gobblegum…
either that or the developers didn’t feel like animating it properly.
DJAK792
They would die if they drank too much however they could share the drink so it’s a good point
Fishmaneatsfish
Imagine drinking 4 entire bottles of McDonald’s sprite. That’s why.
Green_Dayzed
it’s so viscus that’s just what is stuck to the sides.
quittin_Tarantino
Imagine getting downed while drinking jugg before it can actually take effect.

woodrunner69
They’d get fat after awhile and wouldn’t be able to run around the map
Because some makes your eyes water and others are too damn chewy
Curious-Benefit6515
They taste like shit according to every character, and they gain the effects after one sip. No need to down it all.
IceTutuola
Love how you used Death Perception in place of a red perk bottle for Jug in Bo4 lol
LeggoMahLegolas
Imagine drinking a whole bottle of Stamin-Up and just getting the powers of the Speed Force with it.
Mcsnufle
The original crew just chugged that stuff in one gulp. Man power to the max with those dudes lol 😂
Lost_Bumblebee2559
They use the perks as if they were kinda medicine.
We only get the therapeutic dose not a large dose ( Lethal dose )

I always assumed the cans were just chugged based on it sounding empty afterwards

There’s a clear answer if you look at the nutrition, phd gives a year of sodium in a full bottle or can and other perks show the milligrams of normal dings as grams. The ingredients too, like jug has trench water and quick revive has smelling salts
