I made a video on how to take full advantage of aim assist in warzone and how to tweak your controller settings to achieve that goal, this is the result of approx 10 months of learning playing on controller

It seems like a circus now, only the clowns don’t know they are. aim assist is an aim bot, even if you hand the pad to a dog it probably gets more kills than a committed mnk. that said it’s fine for the clowns to continue to have fun please however separate us from them, the game need input-based matchmaking, mnk vs mnk and pad vs pad. problem solved.

Great video, thanks for making this.

“Aim assist is not assisting instead it’s actually doing the aiming for you.”

I’m not gone lie I get in gunfights and get handsy with my right stick lol

Fucking crazy, do all these steps to basically slow down, and minimize as much manual aiming as possible in order to let the game do all the work for you. In a game where movement is king.. Absolutely bananas

    Just for further calrification:

    1. DS4 is not necessary if you want to still accomplish the same result, this same method can still be applied on the PS5 with the DSE controller, not so much on Xbox.
    2. While on the Xbox controller, I still did almost the same like what you saw on the clips with a precision ring and the dynamic curve only, so this is still valid if you have an Xbox controller, but as I mentioned the Dual Shock PS controllers are just on a league of their own.
    3. A small clarification on a point in the video about curves. The linear curve I drew as an example would yield the same camera movement speed regardless of the traveling distance of the analog stick which is complete and utter trash and prevents the bubble from ever getting activated at all. It was for illustration and how response in-game relates to the physical movement of the analog stick*. The jittery reactionary movement of the analog stick while panicking in the game is the most human way of playing controller. Pros are pros because they are able to control that, imagine ever so gently tapping your analog stick while maintaining composure in a fight without all the jazz mentioned in the video, yeah, that’s how difficult it is. However, I’m almost positive that 95% of the streamers have their controllers tuned to the last bit *(as they should).*
    4. Adjusting curves and learning the analog movement is only like 60% of the equation. There’s a 10% of finding the right in-game settings for aiming (sense and ADS multiplier) and a 20% of figuring out the deadzones (this will depend on your own individual controller) and there’s a 10% of finding something that works FOR YOU. I have the adjustments I mentioned in the video with the in-game sens at 10-10 and ADS multiplier at 0.85 (I think it’s 0.75, I’m not sure). But this will not work if any of the other adjustments are fucked up.
    5. I have a really weird idea/image of *how the controller should feel in my hands*, I’m really picky about it, I have long fingers, and my ADHD-imbued brain cannot for the love of god play a shooter game on controller with the tension on the right stick. I just fucking can’t. I bought them because I need to feel like I’m moving it, but it turned out it actually provides “precision” advantages as the name suggests.

Honestly I tried to be as clear as possible, I didn’t prepare a script, it was a quick video I did today during lunch, hope you guys like it. I don’t stream, I just make videos for fun and play this shit game.

(*) There’s a certain camera movement speed threshold after which aim assist will not activate, I do not know how much it is, and I’m sure it’s not as simple as “if you’re moving this fast, then you won’t game assist” but the way it’s set up for me, it’s not so bad. Like I already know how long it takes me to flick on controller so I slow down by the time I reach my target and AA kicks in, you don’t have aim assist because you’re at 100% throttle all the time.

  8. do you have a youtube link? reddit not working for me
