Stop buying curved monitors.

Looks like it happened directly down the middle. Maybe something cracked inside 😕

Damn sucks dude; at the end of the day you’ll get a new monitor back but why can’t things just work out of the box. Complete mood killer, best of luck and here’s to having no more tech issues.

Is that using the factory stand or a monitor arm?

why monitors are so expenaive yet they become dead in 3 years or even in 15 minutes…
manufacturers should really consider about the price and quality percentage

If it makes you feel better, I shattered my wife’s week-old monitor when I broke a ceiling light cover yesterday. It was old, flimsy plastic and broke apart in my hand while I was reseating it, and one piece speared the monitor. Didn’t even notice til the next day when my wife tried to log in to work and called me in a panic saying it was broke.

Don’t bother doing an RMA. Go straight to the store you got it from and get it exchanged.

I’ve been a long time LG user but like 3 years back I got a faulty tv that had a panel that failed like this only to have my replacement fail as well so I just gave up on them. I still have an old 2017 curved monitor but fear buying any of their new stuff sadly. It feels like they discontinued all the products that were built well when covid hit.

Was it second hand or brand new?
