I know Pacifica is considered the most dangerous in game, due to the lack of NCPD presence of course, but what would you guys actually consider to be the most dangerous district in
NC for the average resident? I would personally nominate northern Watson to be the most dangerous, due to the heavy presence of Maelstrom where 2/3 of the gang is suffering from Cybersychosis.

Anywhere I am currently
City center, due to increased NCPD presence and the automated defences everywhere. Been macked due to a stray bullet or a contagion quick hack picking the wrong enemy more than once.

The most dangerous I would argue is Pacifica (drug abuse, rampant crime with no cop presence) and central NC (what with all the cyberpsycho attacks and crime in the area/gang presence)
Northside. Whenever I head up there it’s always dark with no one around except the glow of Maelstrom optics.

Pacifica, more specifically Dogtown, it’s outside of the range of the NCPD the Corpos and even the Gangs>!(outside of Bargust) it’s COMPLETELY Hanson’s turf and he’s really not that great of a guy.!<

Close second watson. I do not want to come across maelstrom as a regular joe.
I know everyone is probably going to say pacifica but it feels more like the place that if you keep your head down for the most part youll be left alone.
I have been so used to seeing dog town and black rock on the map to the point I feel like a baby who have seen their father clean shaved/ bearded for the first time, though it Pacifica they have druggies so much of them…besides vdbs

Pretty sure Pacifica is canonically the most screwed up despite not being that dangerous in-game. It’s the part of Night City that doesnt have police presence and is entirely controlled by a single gang. Just driving down the road feels almost post apocalyptic

It’s canonically Pacifica. Crime was so bad that Lucius Rhyne (mayor) designated it an “independent district” so that he didn’t have to count it in the crime statistics. Crime rate for Night City dropped by half, if I remember correctly.
Dogtown is the only true combat zone in Cyberpunk 2077, so if you want to count that, it’s gotta be the worst.
Northside strictly because of Maelstrom. Pacifica is probably more dangerous on a per capita level but maelstrom are just erratic asf. Forcing implants on people and the such. F that.

Pacifica is like Mogadishu during Black Hawk Down. The Army literally fought the Corps there until the war ended, and a lot of those guys never left, which is why Dogtown is Cyberpunk’s Apocalypse Now area.

Technically speaking, directly under one of the orbital air rocket engines. That’s certain death at some point.
I get the Pacifica answers, especially if you count Dogtown as part of Pacifica. But I’m still thinking Northside. Maelstrom are crazy. You might get hit by stray shots from gang hits in the other areas (and there are randos in Dogtown/Pacifica for sure), but those gangs do… try… to keep order in their sections and if you keep your head down and pay your Protection you’ll be fine.
Not so for Maelstrom. Not sure why there seems to be less cyberpsychos up there, all of them seem to have a touch of it already.

I like how everyone keeps naming dogtown/Pacifica. Dude was asking for the roughest neighborhood in NC, not the whole game.
I feel like everywhere in Night City is dangerous. You can only make a tier list of which areas are the worst. In the north side, there are the Maelstroms. In Pacifica, there are no cops and many Scavs. Six Streets and the Tyger Claws aren’t the best gangs either. Even Glen with the Valentinos isn’t the safest place. So it is hard to tell which one is most dangerous.
