I absolutely hated the infamous games. They weren’t fun. You’re a weak super hero. I had more fun playing Protype and Crackdown. I will say Infamous is better than Saints Row 4/5.
As cool as Ghost of Tsushima is, I really miss the old Sucker Punch games. Sly and Infamous were so goddamn good.
I think Infamous 2 is pretty great, and a perfect sequel, but the first game is very rough. Most of the game feels like some overly grimdark take on a pretty half baked superhero world where too many of the missions involve you going through a sewer to get to a generator to get stronger. The cutscenes are also pretty weak. It doesn’t matter how good comic book panels look, it’s always going to feel cheap (and the second game knew this).
inFamous 1 felt like a third person shooter disguised as a game with cool powers so i got bored with it pretty quick. Great story though. Is 2 and Second Son any better?
Long overdue for a revival.
God I remember playing this at Walmart using the demo consoles while my mom was shopping. Absolute banger, shame I never got around to getting a console and playing it for real.
