Probably not. Might best to make sure he can’t reach them if you’re not around to watch him until he gets out of his chewing phase.
ShockWave_Omega
Not really..
Cheap_Ferret_5296
what dog type is this, btw?
HansHerz
Sufficient voltage will fix her.
Little-Sport-640
If he’s too much of a hassle, I can suggest giving him to me
elliotborst
No, it will get through that if it really wants to.
T3DDY173
Absolutely not.
And those are meant to group cables up.
eMmDeeKay_Says
They’re not cable protectors, they’re for bundling. Try rubbing bitrex on them.
whereballoonsgo
Nah that probably wont stop anything, but you’re better off not having your PC on the ground anyways, so you might as well move it to your desk. (or get a side table for it if theres no room)
GoatInferno
My friend had a 12V power supply hooked up to a bunch of random cables. Dog learned pretty quickly to not chew on cables.
Sure, maybe not the nicest thing, but pretty harmless, and a lot better than accidentally learning the same lesson from a 230V cable.
MrDeeJayy
Nope. Get yourself some PVC pipe, and then some Pipe Insulation Tubing. Should make it thick enough that should the furry one get to munching, nothing bad will happen.
Also get it a chew toy.
Leotargaryen
Any fortress can be breached with sufficient motivation.
Lol really tho hopefully he doesn’t get very interested in it. Cute doggo

Foxes are no Pets.

Search for “cable raceway” or “TV wall cover” – hard plastic tunnel meant to hide the cables running up to a wall-mounted TV. If you can get the cables over to the wall, there won’t be delicious dangling chew toys all over.
Also +1 to bitter/no-chew sprays, but keep an eye out. Some dogs just don’t seem to notice them (coming from a dog foster)
I_love_bowls
He is very cute
Visible-Salary-8861
I’d actually be worried about him chewing pieces off and swallowing them.
jaytech_cfl
Metal conduit tubing.
giantfood
Not likely. I would suggest moving the system up higher so you only have to worry about low hanging wires.

Had a cat that chewed on telephone wires until one day they got zapped. Never looked at a cord again. Most recently I had a pretty big Lego set hanging and my buddy’s cat knocked it down and it fell on top of him. Now the cat steps so carefully and gently around all the Lego.
Novel_Lunch6574
I had a German shepherd puppy chew through literally every cord in my house for fun
Cal-Eats-Rocks
Bro why do you have a fox?
Edit: and how did you get a fox?
Majestic-Remote1245
Nope, they just add more fun to the chewing. If they can chew through your shoes and couch legs, they WILL chew right through the cable protectors like butter.m unfortunately…
VacantThoughts
I would find a way to fit it on the desk.
Substantial-Size3125
Try putting something bitter smelling nearby your PC. Also, maybe try getting bitter spray deterrent and spray your wires (unplugged of course) so if he goes for it, it’ll gross him out. Idk
Simsalabimson
Well… time will tell. But I think it’s a good idea
Stalhart
No
I would recommend putting your PC on top of your desk, purchasing cable trunking the exact length of the underside of your desk, then mounting the cable trunking underneath your desk and running all of the cables through the trunking. You could also do this from the floor and mount the trunking along your wall
If not that, then I would advise buying an under desk cable management tray, which is an easier option, or, at the very least, buying a cable management box organiser, which is the easiest option, as you could keep your PC on the floor and put the cables into the box

My pup ate a wall so there you go.

if his goal is to chew the wires, no
Snoo-60611
Put some vinegar on the lines. Works every time
Intelligent_Will_606
General advice: DO NOT let your dog come near your PC.
Also: You might wanna put your PC on a table. This way he doesn’t suck all too much dust into itself…
Direct_Ambassador_10
No, that will not buy you 5 seconds. Get your pc off the floor and put something in front of the wall outlet he can’t get behind.

You are honestly in for a nightmare with this animal.
MrDrDude333
Might be a pain to run all your cables through but just get a thick piece of PVC pipe and run them through that. Then make the back of the pc inaccessible so the ends are safe
enderjaca
yarrr….. ’tis no dog. ’tis a remorseless chewing machine.
SAULOT_THE_WANDERER
I don’t think any kind of protector can stop this ferocious beast
Neveyocheese
There are these pastes and sprays you can apply onto the wires which make them taste bad to canines
WinOk1229
This dude will wreck yo shit and Pee everywhere when he reaches maturity.
Its recommended not to keep foxes in the House the entire time.
BusSad758
I’d guess no, just more plastic for him to enjoy during his chew.
