(I don't know why there's so much hair in there though lol. I have a cat, but she likes to sleep on my chair and not on my keyboard.)

Free sound dampening. Nature’s PCB mat.
I use to have to dismantle my old Logitech MX5000 keyboard to do that, the first time I managed that was some 15 years after I got it, but it was a blast to clean it!

Here I thought that an ad for a kb cleaner was greatly exaggerating the amount of filth you can get into your keyboard, but man I think it was your keyboard!

Splash proof keyboards are the worst for gunk build up
Alright folks… I use an “air purifier” in my computer room, and after 4 years of daily use, my keyboard still does not look like this.
I highly recommend it, also significantly reduces dust within the PC as well.
As a keyboard snob, this hurts me.
I bought [this washable keyboard from Logitech ](https://ir.logitech.com/press-releases/press-release-details/2012/Logitech-Unveils-Washable-Ultra-Durable-Keyboard/default.aspx) years ago to deal with this and it’s great. It doesn’t have the bells and whistles of a gaming keyboard but it does what I need it to. I’m not sure they sell it anymore unfortunately.
