My reasoning is that different missions requiere different approaches, I don’t think a stealth build will help that much against Adam Smasher or Cybepsychos or a pure strength build will no much when a gif requires not alerting enemies, that’s just my opinion

Min/Max-ing can take the fun out of things, i say play how you want to…but dont waste perks in stuff you don’t need. Usually every build has some sort of gun stat included though.

I always go for balance and the only question is which attributes get to 9 and 15 first. After that, sure, one or two of those get to 20, I can’t even remember. Those level 20 perks are really specific and generally not that useful when I play

Even if you go balanced you are sacrificing some perks. Not enough to spread around. Mostly the center trees and maybe better in an area or two. Builds let you have multiple saves and you can load up stealth killer or Rambo

I always try crazy shit. On one run I can be the stealthiest runner, in others I go guns (or swords) blazing. I think that my ultimate test to put my builds against is to survive MaxTac.

You should not blindly spread attributes and perks, you should read, what they do and pick based on that.

I like your approach, however, I would still push to get 20 Int and Tech asap, as they both unlock *SO* much stuff.

Na I do it too I like using multiple typed of weapons and skills keeps it fresh but I do have my favorites

Don’t worry, I’ve never used “overclock” either.

  9. Technical at 20 is a must for that Edgerunner perk. I max out Reflexes, Tech, and Strength all at 20, then spread the rest out between Intelligence and Cool.

I used to do the same, but then used my reset to do a ninja build and I love it. The downside is that there are some things I can’t get to because they require skill levels that I don’t have.

You need to find one more point. Be a lot cooler if you did.
