Thanks, NVIDIA, for not naming you products properly 😀 Some guy on eBay of course has 10 of them available, for $19888.00, however they only gave 261 reviews but their name is “Integrity~No.1” so I trust them. No warranty though… but wHo CaReS!1!1!!! $79552 for the four GPUs alone. Throw in an extra… $5000 for sorting out the riser and NVLink situation, bringing the GPU total to $84552.
All that’s left is the CPU coolers, GPU coolers, case, and power supplies. Our total so far is $92470.97 which means that we can spend over $75,000 on these components and have a bit over a grand left over.

Supermicro MBD-X13DAI-T-O is said to be EATX form factor, so just buy a Fractal Design Define 7 XL as it seems to have enough PCIE slot covers and it has “industrial sound dampening”. Does airflow really matter? If it does, then just use an angle grinder to remove the front cover of the case and place it next the nearest AC unit (the price of an angle grinder and AC unit will not be added to the total cost as those are… accessories… to the PC). The Define 7 XL costs $184.99 on newegg if you go with the steel panel option. The dark tinted tempered glass version is $234.99 and because we have the money, let’s get this one instead. Now this case only has one power supply cage, but no one is stopping us from… securing… power supplies to the outside of the case.
I stopped caring half an hour ago, so let’s just say 6 of the be quiet! Dark Power 13 1600W power supplies with 80 Plus Titanium efficiency will be enough. Each is $399.90 on Amazon (sold by be quiet!) and there are 3-year protection plans for $48.99. The total for the PSUs is $2693.34. If you are building the PC yourself, you can turn on all six power supplies by yourself as well, no need for a PDU of any kind.
The OS can just boot of a 32GB usb 2.0 drive. The sandisk 32GB Cruzer Blade is $7.31 with free shipping on Amazon. No warranty though. Put any permanent data on four SeaGate IronWolf Pro 22TB drives because I mean really, who cares at this point. Amazon comes in and saves the day with free shipping once again. Each drive is $297.99 so $1191.96 for the four of them. Who needs RAID when you have… I don’t know anymore.
And wow, look at that. WE MADE IT! You can make a comparable system for only $97018.43! If you pay a worker the US federal minimum wage ($7.25 per hour) to assemble the workstation, assuming it will take a good full 8 hour work day, that would be… $58 for the build cost.
