This is from the warframe devs. Almost all issues are 13th and 14th gen.

I will go even higher, and say that 12th gen is probably broken too, just not at crash level. Meet someone in this games that had a similar build to me (4090), but was experiencing big stutters, while I was never under 100 FPS. He had an i5 12600k DDR5 5600 system vs my R9 5900X DDR4 3600 system.
My GPU was power capped to 350W, his wasn't. The 12th gen core with DDR5 should have done better in games vs Zen 3, but it did not.
A lot of people were complaining about the new are in the game as stuttery, while I had no issue. Initially, I thought it was down to GPU, but after that, it made me doubt it.

The guy who runs UserBenchmark right now.
So Intel 13th and 14th gen i9 instability a few months ago was only the tip of the iceberg?
I mean its fixed via BIOS update, not surprised. Its technically a motherboard problem if a BIOS update fixes it. Not a CPU problem
Been a thing in a lot of games since Intel started doing performance and efficiency cores
Me with my r5 7600
Sad to see the tech press still avoiding this, there is only 1 clickbait video and only GN, HUB and L1 deep dives.
Compare this to when less than 6 X3D CPU’s burned and AMD made users whole quickly and motherboard BIOS updates came every 72 hours for nearly a month. Intel is offering no support, no recall, no explanation when all i9’s are affected.
TLDR version, patch your system firmware regularly.
I too saw Wendell’s video
So they fixed it by installing a firmware patch they should have already installed.
You mean warfarm is broken on these Intel CPUs.
*oh no*
Anyway. Warframe is kinda shit now anyway
Puts on Intel?
If you actually read the article it just says a BIOS update fixes the issue. Not really that big of a deal
I have a 12600k on DDR5-6000 and a 6950xt and it’s been nothing but smooth sailing for me lol.
Though next time I’m going AMD.
I got 2 13900k cpus refunded by Intel because they were broken. AMD is a must at the high end right now sadly.
Are we so blinded by the Intel hate train that your sample size of “one guy had stutters on Warframe” is enough to declare all Intel CPUs post-12th gen as broken? Come on, guys.
Definitely glad I went for team red instead of upgrading to 13th or 14th gen from gen 12 lol.
Unfortunately I have an i5 12600k. Knew I should have bit the bullet and gone with a 7600X.
Haven’t had any problems with my 13700k I bought last year thankfully but I will be going AMD next time barring Intel coming out with a unicorn
Cries in brand new 15-13600K ):
My 12900K has had no issues.
i7-12700F and no problems, all runs perfectly fine
My program at college just bought 50 systems for two labs. Asus prime b760 plus boards with i7-14700K CPUs.
Almost all of the CPUs have failed (5 did not) as the boards came shipped with a bios that tried pushing 1.71V upon first boot.
This is not a fun RMA :/
okay, this is a bit of a stretch, i still believe super high voltage to run super high clock speed of i9 in non full load task is the one causing this crash issue, but who know, hope they can resolve this
I had an issue with MW3 zombies crashing, never multiplayer. It would go a few days sometimes without crashing and sometimes crashing twice a day. My friend had a R9 5950X and never crashed while we played together, not once. I finally got some new BIOS updates from MSI, and the latest BIOS, I haven’t crashed a single time. Knock on wood. It’s been 3 months since updating the BIOS and all is well finally. I have an Intel 13700KF
