The latter picture kinda was my V’s loadout. I usually go for pistols and sniper rifles in FPS RPGs, but with V i went exclusively with pistols. I tried to kill as little as possible, by opting for stealth and non-lethal take downs, and by trying my damnedest to pick dialogue options that would avoid combat.

Then my V only has Jackie’s gun, the Katana from The Heist that’s obtainable after Yori kills his dad, my Mantis blades and BFG (or the dildo on a stick). My inventory is almost filled with clothing.

I nearly shit myself when I discovered the shotgun V was using while hiding from Arasaka in the motel was only a tier 1 when all my gear was tier 5++.

Yet another case of gameplay being wholly seperated from how the game treats you. No matter how powerful you become, how much you do, the game never really addresses how utterly mythically powerful you become. You would think you would get some kind of recognition for having so many powerful weapons that the most legendary runners of times past would envy.

Comrade’s Hammer is my favorite weapon of any kind. Instant regular-ass-foe remover. Anything stronger gets Divided We Stand, anything that really pisses me off gets the BFC 9000 just because I want to make a point of humiliating them

Far Cry 6 is just like this you can have so many weapon options but in every cutscene you have the starting pistol which is hilarious and tiny.

Yeah, too bad they can’t put weapons we actually use in the cutscenes, but I imagine it really would create a lot of problems for writers to account how each weapon would work in a single interaction
