It has the highest max total damage of any automatic weapon in zombies, a solid DPS and a much higher DPS than most LMGs in zombies, it’s a monster at camping and doing basically everything else as well, and the mobility is the same as the ARs from BO1 and every other LMG in BO3. The only real weakness with the weapon is it’s reload speed, which is not only pretty average for LMGs in zombies, but can also be entirely covered by attachments and/or buying speed cola. It’s a great gun, and deserves more recognition.

Am I the only who fucks with the fire rate?

It’s great in Zombies and in MP it was a 2 hit kill above the waist, I really enjoyed leveling it up in both modes

The Gorgon is good but it exists in the same game as the Dingo
gazebo936
Would run this and the Dingo on The Giant to advance the community’s progress on the headshot challenge back in 2017, fun times listening to this thing chug along as the headshots racked up on the catwalk

I rarely see people using the m8 in bo3 and 4 even though it’s the head shotter 10000

Great damage but the reload, fire rate and movement speed annoys the hell out of me. Feels like I’m playing in molasses.
Mobile_Meringue8106
I never see anybody use the M14 in BO3 zombies, but the headshot damage on that is ridiculous. Faster fire rate than the Gorgon BTW, despite being semi automatic.

If the handling wasn’t cosplaying as Steven hawking it would be a great weapon

Most underrated? Shieva or olympia.
Shieva, or really any of the bo3 gun ppl call “bad”. No bo3 gun is bad, theyre all equally op.
And the olympia goea **HARD**
Papped in bo1 it one shot till round 20, and papped in bo2 it one ahot till round 30 with doubletap 2.0. And its a spawn room weapon that costs 500 point.

It’s a solid weapon, but the Dingo outclasses it terms of LMGs, and people tend to prefer SMGs or ARs, so an LMG really needs to stand out for people to want to use it. While it technically has the most damage possible in terms of all the ammo plus high per shot damage, the DPS isn’t top tier, so it’s not the absolute best camping weapon either (again, the Dingo beats it due to the better DPS). Lastly, by the time bullet weapons aren’t killing fast enough in high rounds, you’re relying on AATs anyways, so a nimble wall weapon is preferred if you’re planning on using a bullet weapon past round 40. Final Verdict for me is that the Gorgon is not as good as the Dingo or RPK, but is definitely better than the 48 Dredge and BRM. It’s nothing special in an unpopular class of weapons so not underrated imo.

I’ve always wanted to run it but I would need to max it out first, it’s just too clunky when it’s stock

It’s ok but I can’t cheat on my brm
Mothman4447
Never tried taking it to round 50 but it does very good damage with DT2.0
BlankG0rilla412
Definitely a solid gun, while not my first choice of weapon but if I end up getting it out the box I won’t be mad and will probably use it for a couple rounds
