I’ve recently just starting playing black ops 4 zombies (never got around to playing it besides once at a friends and was absolutely livid that they changed the point system, Primus crew, perks, blood of the dead flopped etc.) and Fortnite had me by the throat during the lifecycle of blops 4 so I never played it. That being said, I recently just starting playing it and it’s not that bad. I mean us zombies fans have been starved of good content for years so something new and decent is fun for me. Anyway, I found out that you can’t buy map packs or just the standalone zombie maps like you could for previous cod games and am wondering is the black ops pass worth it to play the other 4 zombies maps? I’ve heard Dead of the Night and Ancient evil are great, but Alpha Omega and Tag are not. Some feedback would be great thanks for reading 🙂

alpha omega isn’t that great but the other maps are really fun if you learn them

Yeah the maps are pretty good especially the mansion one

Having played them all, I think without SP, no. Spend more on Bo3 or something

I like playing all the maps casually. Up to you, but probably Dead of the Night and Ancient Evil are the only maps really worth buying since OC.

No you’re better off doing BO2 lol instead of this garbage game.

If you like content, it is completely worth it. There is so much content on DOTN and AE alone. I also really enjoyed Tag. AE is the only one that was meh to me

I mean, currently it’s $50, so buying a pass for a game like BO4 can be questionable.
Best bet, wait for a summer sale. I’ve seen deals go as low as $20 for the season pass depending on what platform you buy it.

For that price, you get 5 zombie maps. Not a bad trade.
    As for the maps.

Classified is just an easier “Five” from BO1.

Dead of the Night is a very hardcore map meant to be quest based and wonder weapon oriented. It isn’t casual friendly, but rewards those who can learn the map (a top 5 map for me imo.)

Ancient Evil is recognized to be a fan favorite with the community for having the chemistry of Der Eisendrache. That being it is a pretty casual map with certain mini quests that enhances player progression the best out of any Chaos map.

Alpha Omega is… Nuketown 2: Electric Boogaloo. Jokes aside, it’s a bit lackluster. While AO has a great Wonder Weapon upgrade system and boss fight, everything else about this map is pretty ass.

Tag Der Toten is pretty good in my opinion. It blends the BO4 system with the aesthetic and gameplay of a classic BO1-2 zombies map. Easy to earn wonder weapons with great map progression.

  9. I’d say pick it up on sale it’s been a while, if you don’t want to wait then grab it, the maps (I’ve heard) are good, if you enjoy Bo4Z, you’ll enjoy the maps.

If you love zombies, definitely. 8 maps, some are bad, some are great, but you also get a long grind to get camos and calling cards if you’re interested

BO4 is unironically the best zombies experience and I’ll die and be trampled on this hill.

  12. made this decision a couple weeks ago and i really like bo4
