Don’t worry. Here is what you’re going to do, and you need to be very precise and follow each step here, you can’t skip any.
1. Grab a mechanical pencil. A regular pencil won’t do the trick. It should probably be between 0.5 and 0.7mm in diameter.
2. Grab a piece of thick cardboard.
3. Take the pencil and write on it with a firm hand: “I’m not allowed to go near computer parts every again”. Take a good look at this piece of cardboard every morning.
There. I don’t guarantee the CPU will work again though.
