If I’m not mistaken, RED engine renders based on what you currently see. So things outside your view would not be rendered (heavily at least, the bare bones would be rendered). So when you drive in traffic, often cars will spawn outside your view. The game believed it was safe to spawn a car behind you outside your view, however it spawned it under/on top of you because it thought you “weren’t looking”, which caused collision and forced you through the map.
