Seen on my grandfather's war chest. He was drafted in 1945 to the European theater. I know which unit he was in and I know his story, just can't figure out this symbol with the square and dot. Thanks! (Second image)
It’s for the Easter egg. You need an mp40 ( u can find it as a wall buy) and shoot the symbol 5 times.
Next a red.orb will appear and it will guide u to different locations where u need to feed it souls.
Nah fr tho this sub is for the game Call of Duty: WWII

I don’t have anything important to add to this, but, if your grandfathers last name started with a B then him and I share the same initials lol.
Im high so this was pretty neat to me

Wait, that square on the side, he was part of The Railroad?

Wrong sub lol but this one has been slowly dying, so I welcome anything interesting.
It’d really help if we knew what his branch/unit/role (job) was. It seems like you have it, not sure why you wouldn’t say it…
Anyway, it’s typically a rectangle, but it can be a symbol for Artillery or very rarely infantry. I don’t want to speculate too much more without knowing more details on him.
I’d go to AskHistorians or a better sub for this

I have already been notified that this is a CoD sub. I was trying to do some research, and I apologize for violating what some of you seem to see as the untouchable sanctity of your community.
