    Use kde fedora instead. It has better features out of the box, use later kernels, and has laptop power management out of the box.

    I only used Linux for VPS/Dedis and it was extra work for the same account for my use case. That was in 2010-2014 though.

    most likely i will do that to a laptop i have laying around. When windows 10 isnt updated anymore i guess. In fact i was trying live distributions not that much ago. I was thinking…..debian.

    Y’all STFU! Linux is still a fucking PC, and it’s a legitimate topic to discuss.

    Linux adoption outpaces Mac on Steam now. Microsoft is only concerned with your data, and how they can sell you to advertisers. Not making an OS that is customizable, secure, and private. All things which Linux allows you to do, and in many cases by default.

    Only thing holding it back is still ease of use, but that is rapidly changing.

    To OP: Good for you. I’m not ready yet, but I’m sure I’ll be joining you soon.

    I have mint in my second Nvme, but it just for chilling on YouTube and nostalgia about the years when I installed like 3 distros along windows XP in a single HDD.
