I’d take the whole keyboard apart and wipe it down with some isopropyl alcohol then let it dry. It should dry within minutes (that’s what isopropyl alcohol does) but you could leave it overnight to be safe. If the water fried some of the connectors then you’re fucked unless you know how to solder.

Like others said, let it dry and give it a try. If it’s still an issue, that means whatever residue is left is shorting it/connecting circuits that shouldn’t be connected. In that case, give it a bath of the highest % isopropyl alcohol you can find (should be in most grocery store pharmacies, shoot for 90+%), let it completely dry, and reassemble.

I had a skylight leak the other night and it leaked directly onto one of my mechanical keyboards. I dumped all the water out (It was literally full of water) and then took all the key caps off, and pulled all the switches. Then I blew it out with one of those electronic fans that is supposed to replace canned air (fuck canned air btw), and let it all dry separately over night, and it seems to be working fine.
Keep in mind that the keyboard was literally full of water. Like I dumped a solid quart out of it before I started taking everything apart. If that little amount of liquid screwked your keyboard up, just replace it. If its a laptop and you plan on keeping it for a while, learn how to replace it. I replaced the keyboard on one of my old gaming laptops at least 3 times due to spills or keys not working. The first time might be intimidating, but by the third time, I didnt even have the you tube video playing and I just went in like a fucking savage and changed it out in 4-5 minutes.
I spilled some coffee and milk like last year, had problems for 2-3 days, then it went away. Just dry it and hope for the best
