One of the best games in recent memory, built specifically for gamers enjoyment/challenge with no cash hungry schemes or microtransactions, releases a DLC that is almost the same size as most modern full games…
And you’re surprised this did well?

Shadow of Erdtree is officially the fastest selling DLC in history,
Elden Ring 2 is now but inevitable.

I got my copy. I’m loving it. It’s kicking my ass and that’s why I love it. When you finally beat a boss you’ve fought 20 times you really feel like you overcame something impossible.

If there’s one recent AAA game that deserves this much success, it’s ER. To think that even 6/7 million would have been a great success, it’s insane how much it sold, almost 30 million in 3 years is CRAZY

I hope that if elden ring 2 is ever a thing, or any “open world” game fromsoft makes they learn that densely packed is better than the wide formulaic open world we saw in the base game of elden ring.
The “legacy dungeons” as they were called in elden ring are the backbone of the game and they are where any souls game shines.
In my opinion, I feel Elden ring is very complete now and the story is all tied up.
Maybe a revisit back to yharnam…………

The game is available in 5 platforms including those 2 previous gen consoles so that’s like 1 million in each platform
