They should definitely make an even faster 8 core they will own the mid range gaming market

They’re talking about AMD potentially doubling the TDP of the 9700x to increase it’s performance.

    >[AMD to Revise Specs of Ryzen 7 9700X to Increase TDP to 120W, Beat 7800X3D](https://www.techpowerup.com/323934/amd-to-revise-specs-of-ryzen-7-9700x-to-increase-tdp-to-120w-beat-7800x3d)

Right now, nothing beats the previous generations 7800x3D, which is going to be an issue for AMD and sales on the newer gen. If you’re into gaming, zero of the new CPUs are compelling instead of just getting the 7800x3D currrently.

  3. I’m still loving my 5800X3D. It plays every game perfectly for me paired with as 6900XT.

I hope they make it even faster. And also, they should make something new too for the mid range. They will have no competition.

The 7800X3D is actually really good at gaming it’s hard to justify another CPU upgrade for quite some time.

I would be surprised it it beats 7800x3d in gaming, I expect it will be close, but that’s it.

I hope they will launch it at a sane price tho.

AMD personnel have already stated that it won’t beat x3D in gaming. That was never the point. Each of their architectures has its niche.

X3D chips are for those folks that want bleeding edge framerates when paired up with a pretty powerful GPU. I’m not sure even if you gave more juice to a non X3D chip itll beat it

In other words: “The 9700X is not much better than the 7700X”

Can you imagine if they released the 9950X3D with 3D cache for all 16 cores instead of just a cluster of 8? Now that would be insane!

I’m just hoping we get a dual CCD X3D.

I have the 7800X3D paired with a 7900XT video card and my computer is amazing. I have had no issue with setting my games at ultra and getting stupid high FPS.
