I’m not sure what’s so bad about games getting remastered when this PCMR gets such a hard on for when modders do it…y’all can just play the originals modded and gamers like me that want to experience something again like the Resident Evil franchise (which was glorious in the originals and even better to me in the remaster) will get to have their cake too.

I just don’t get why they remastered COD. Like they’ve been making a reskinned version of the same game since the original modern warfare. Especially since they’re doing it in a GAS model, just release the original version for free and add DLC texture and weapon packs for people who want to pay for them.

I don’t really mind when they remaster/remake a game that’s in need of it.
However, they’re starting to “remaster” games that aren’t even old or dated now. You don’t need to remaster a 5 year old game.
It should be 10-15 years old to deserve a remaster or remake, and be multiple generations behind mechanically and graphically to even warrant it to begin with.

Capcom just announce the Dead Rising Remaster sadly, they didn’t get the original voice actor for Frank West. They kept the same guy from Dead Rising 4.

Gaming unlike movies can end up feeling dated far more quickly due to updates in controls and UI, so remakes can introduce a game to new audiences and not just retro gamers.
