You have to be playing on easy diff because aint no way u got throught whole game without a single combat cyberware. It is literally point of the game to upgrade with cyberware. (Besides did u got rid of hand cyberware and skin armor because from 2.0 those are deafult cyberware that you need to install)

The talent point system is effectively firmware upgrades. Can’t use any of those either.
I mean clearly the devs expected you to have some.
*All* of your cyberware, minus your neural port is removed. That includes all the muscles enhancers and all the upgrades and passive gains you had throughout the game, all of that is gone, and V is incapable of acquiring it again.
For the sake of argument, could V become a bio-hacker like the Animals? They have some non-biological stuff inside them, but it’s analogic, like the kind of artificial bones we know today.
You’re just going to have to accept that the gameplay won’t perfectly translate into the narritive decisions of the game. Im sorry the devs couldn’t perfectly translate the narritive idea to your gameplay because you played a different way than what the devs expected. If you want that, immersive rpg/sims seems right up your alley.
BioWare is a thing too
V still has a load of Cyberware even if barely anything is installed in the ingame menu, you can see it when focusing on each body part.
It’s the only way Perks like Air Dash, Quake, Deep Breath, Eye in the Sky and Pyromania work
I don’t remember if anyone explicitly says this in game, but my interpretation was, on top of no cyberware, V is also neurologically fried. Like their brain barely communicates with their body. They can move around and talk but any strenuous physical or even complex mental activity is pretty much out of the question. Not a perfect analogy but they basically have a Johnny induced neurodegenerative disorder. Its spread has been stopped, but it can’t be reversed. This could theoretically be fixed with cyberware, but that’s also not possible. Hence the face in the crowd.
It’s even more illogical from Vik because he is still organic and still won official boxing match against legally modified opponents
I went through this ending and couldn’t help but think it was still a good outcome for V overall. She was literally dead in a dump and was revived by the Relic, then gained a bunch of power in order to stop the relic from killing her, then got to go back to just being a regular person.
Losing Judy sucked, as well as a lot of her other friends, but at least she survived.
I was stuck with this shitty ending
The problem with the ending is it’s only bleak “because the writers say so”. Obviously that’s true for anything a writer writes but here it felt really apparent.
the assumption i was making that i thought was inferred during the final cutscene for that ending is that not only did V lose the ability to implant combat cyberware their nervous system was also severely damaged (which is why when confronted by some random street thug they were unable to fight back even though they could definitely take them on without anything) however i’m not sure if they actually said that was the case or if i’m assuming it.
