Was replaying through Ratchet: Deadlocked – a spin-off a game series known for its sci-fi space action and – and I couldn't but notice that this game kind of flirts with the cyberpunk philosophy.
It's main narrative theme deals with cashing in on popular heroes and blood sport, with corporate advertising and media manipulation and a rebellious anti-hero protagonist trying to bring an end to it all.
It's not traditional cyberpunk in the sense that there're no humans and this takes place on different dystopian planets with not many cities.
The "high-tech, low-life" aspect isn't really pushed to the forefront, nor is the low-life aspect all too present, but the gritty high-tech bloodsport and futuristic nature does kind of make up for it, to an extent.
In conclusion, Deadlocked deals with high-tech society being hypnotized by the commercialization and broadcasting of bloodsport heroes and corpos making brands out of "heroic" idols, as they fight through dystopian planets.
P.S. That soundtrack also gives a slight cyberpunk feel, with some light industrial and dark electronic mixed with rock.

Do not know how those typos made it through, but I digress.
