If that’s from Steam’s support email then yes, someone got into your account. Otherwise, it’s just spam you can block.
It could probably be a scam, but I would personally change my password just to be cautious
I downloaded something I shouldn’t and had all my steam items stolen. Need an honest answer, OP. Been pirating as well? If so, you may need to nuke your system. Check your task manager and see if there’s something eating a lot of CPU. When I got that malware the motherfucker was mining on my system as well. It’s how I realised. Was running dog slow.
Definitely change your password AND report this to Valve.

I don’t think Steam email has “Steam Store” as its account name. They just use “Steam” or “Steam Support”.
There had to be some data breach somewhere. Same thing happened to me this friday.
The worst thing is I have 2FA enabled, guess that steam guard is just a nuissance, not a security measure…

Password reuse, most likely. At this point you only need to recover the steam account. The problem is: Is your steam password also used elsewhere, like email, instant messaging, etc? If so, change THOSE asap.
Did you click any steam-related links on discord? Such as “free this” or “giveaway that”?
Someone accessed my account and gifted themself 80k steam points worth of shit on their profile, and did that regularly with steam never doing anything about it. Someone accessed your account and they probably bought those items themself

If someone is using an account with 2fa and you never got prompted you probably got session cookies stolen and in this context my bet would be from sailing the high seas.

It happened to me 4 days ago, and I have 2FA (it doesn’t do shit) They sold almost everything in my inventory. I had to change pass and deauthorize all the devices where steam could have been opened.
I’d recommend reading a guide on simple online security. Also read up a bit on how steam works.
