Did anyone even look remotely like this in the 80s or 90s? Now I’m curious as watching older runs of shows like power rangers it really seems like no one remotely dressed like this. Even in timecapsules of seniors from high school don’t really show anything like this. I guess there was punk music and that but this just screams rich kid from the 90s. Like Elon Musk ironically.

Lmao! The Man did this with punk rock, back in the day! The Man, from time to time, gets quite worried about a particular counter-culture going full-on revolutionary. Can’t have you throwing off the yoke of capitalism & experiencing real autonomy! So, in order to prevent would-be revolutionaries from beginning their revolution, The Man sells them the images & aesthetics of revolution! Look at all that STUFF you’ll hafta BUY in order to fight capitalism/capitalists! Don’t read Lenin, buy a leather jacket! Don’t quote Manufacturing Consent, get yourself some electronics! Rebellion is about green mohawks & combat boots! Stop fighting back & keep shopping!

When I jack in for PGP exchanges, should I select “Jack out” or “Jack Off” once I finish?

I had this magazine/book: Mondo 2000, the guide to the New Edge. In a world pre-internet and Pro-Gibson it was the shit. Now sadly, its just shit. 🙁
