Does Conker still hold up? Never played it, only read about it’s cultural impact. is it wort trying out today?

Found it “fun” when I played it, though I didn’t get all the references nor all the dialogues because I was too young and it was too much English for young me (for example I understood what was going on at the “D-Day scene” only because of MoH: Allied Assault :D).
Playing it again four(?) years later, it was just great and “peak Rare” – and a miracle Nintendo allowed it on the N64 😀
