Depends entirely on the style of the game. If it’s anything like 2077, a very personal story with a single actor then rather keep it fpp.
But if it’s more like a sandboxy sim, with multiple main characters like they’re all part of a crew or something then sure.

Nah, FPP worked fine, and oftentimes it’s better to do one thing well than to fall between two stools

Nah. Anything that diminished the immersion and emotional impact of this kind of storytelling would hurt the game. Being able to step outside yourself and distance yourself from the bad things you’re dealing with? Just wouldn’t be Cyberpunk.
Only thing I would like that’s even close is to be able to see myself in reflective surfaces a bit more. For everything else there’s photo mode.

As somebody who doesn’t usually enjoy FPP, I say, keep Cyberpunk FPP. There is something about the story of this game that works precisely because it is FPP.

I want to see my character. Don’t care if that is third person or cutscenes or whatever.

No, really don’t want it.

I’m surprised by the amount of people who don’t want 3rd person. I feel like this was one of my biggest letdowns when playing this game. I get people want it to be immersive or whatever, but that doesn’t mean the option shouldn’t be there. If you want it to be 1st person immersive, play it that way, if you don’t, then switch to 3rd person. I never understood why they didn’t add this for the people who want to see their character walking or doing other things, especially when there is 3rd person for vehicles where you do see your character.

give us da option everyone wins

I prefer FPP by a huge margin! But an option is good only when they put equal effort in developing both. Rockstar’s FPP modes are by and large terrible to experience
Sucker_McSuckertin
Give the option of TPP during normal gameplay, but during cinamatics and certain animations, it’s only FPP.

Not really but one thing I would like is actual cut scenes so I can see my character more
