I came around the corner to see cops securing a crime scene while a robbery happens feet away. On this play through I noticed cops are way too common for a city that has gangs doing shit on every street and will literally not react to their crimes. I’ve had them mix in with gang members I was trying to kill for one of their gigs with them completely chill until a bullet of mine got too close for comfort for them.
Quick fix needs to be to reduce the amount of beat cops just walking around. How is a criminal supposed to do his day job with a cop on every block. At this point I dont expect them to work on gang cop interactions but maybe something to work on in a cyberpunk 2.

Well there are quite a few bought buy the gangs, particularly by the Tyger Claws. Other than that, the NCPD was privatized and sold to a Corp by the mayor and focused on absolutely major crimes while ignoring some stuff. Of course some like River, Anna Hamil and those you encounter on The Hunt try to do good still. It’s part of why Night City’s crime rate has reduced a little, aside from classifying Pacifica as an independent district.

The police in the game are a very disappointing. They’re about as interesting as the guards in the witcher 3. Might as well not even be there
