I loved Turok as a kid, I still have it on my N64
Few Protagonists had the feats Turok has under their belt, plus we don't get enough Native American main characters.
With today's graphics and game engines Turok could be the game of the century
Who else wants Turok back (and not that low effort reboot we got, like a real entry)

“BEWARE OBLIVION IS AT HAND”
Ps5 Turok would be cool af.
Wasn’t a new turok on the Epic leak?
It’s always a good time to get a new Turok.
Turok for me was the first two joystick (d-pad and joystick) movement/view control method. Which I honestly hated at the time after coming from Goldeneye’s control mechanic. And now playing Goldeneye feels so weird because we are so used to the “Turok” control style.
Without the original developers guiding the game’s story and content, it would be a another ruined IP. Turok had some of the most imaginative developers of the 90s. They took an engine and went send it. The original Turok inspired other studios on what can be done on the engines available at that time.
I’m not looking forward to a remake or new game. I don’t care if some big ass, well established studio has the IP. It’s not going to be same without someone going “fuck it we’re putting that in” and completely blowing us away.
Omg I totally forgot about this game, thanks for bringing back some memories !
It’s cyclical. Currently it’s zombies but dinosaurs will come back around.
That game was soooo amazing!!! I would love it for another
OBLIVIONISOUTTHERE
Not only do i want a new Turok game, I want them to bring back the old Whitman comics of Turok.
I was just thinking about this when Xbox did all their reveals. This would be a great game to update. The little girl yelling his name to help is still in my mind. I grew up with Sega, NES, SNES, and N64. It wasn’t until the PS4 that I got an updated console so a lot of games my gen loves to talk about (Halo, COD) I did not play. It seems these games no one remembers in my friend group. Great to know others are calling for it.
The catacombs level started my lifelong hate of underground labirynth levels.
F you, sewers in shadows of the empire
F you, garden maze while getting chased by jason in castlevania 64
If any of the later sequels are any indicator? No, we’ve had plenty.
The fog wasn’t a glitch it was a feature! Lol
I used to love these games when I was younger!
Loved Turok 1 and 2. Some of my favorite games back then.
The other games….were okay. Enjoyable enough, but nowhere near as good as 1 and 2.
There is a severe lack of dinosaur shooters in general. It seems like it would be easy to make a game that would be successful. Bring back Turok and Dinocrisis as well.
Magic people, voodoo people.
100%
Make it like the modern DOOM games. Just replace the demons with dinosaurs.
I would like another Turok. The only problem is I don’t know how many who didn’t grow up with the N64 know about it or care about it.
They had one in the pipe but canceled it….and it looked great! Anyway, its almost save to say “they can’t screw this one up”. Turok is pretty solid and save!
This sounds like viral marketing for the supposed Turok game that got leaked recently.
I loved how Turok on the N64 was just developers making clever use of heavy fog that tricked your brain that there was actually a huge drop or that the scale of the world was larger than you could visibly see, so much of it was left down to your own imagination to fill in all that foggy space and it worked a treat. I felt nerves when I would do platforming and I sensed the dread when I would see enemies charge at me from it.
All so the game could actually run better and hide the heavy pop up.
Finishing a replay of Turok 2 on the Steam release. All the ridiculous gore still makes me laugh and squeal like a tween on too much sugar.
Did anybody play Rage Wars? It was the multi-player Turok game. My brothers and I played the everloving shit out of that game. Such amazing weapons, including the cerebral bore. The emaciator was hilarious. I would die if they remastered it or did a new one.
this is one of those that wasnt as good as you remember it
1,000 times, yes.
