This game was so fun I bought it when I got my Xbox 360 for the first time

One of my all time favorite games. My wife and I would play couch co-op and coordinate tactics. Just a blast.

I was not happy when they canceled Rainbow Six: Patriots and instead went with Siege.

Good choice. I’ll raise you Assassins Creed 2.

Does any game today have the FPS to third person cover button mechanic? I enjoyed that with the terrorist hunts.

Uhh…. (OG R6 fans spinning in their soon to be graves)

Realistic Terrorist hunt with the gang on a Friday night.

I love this game to today although they kinda dropped the ball on the story and the villain’s story that was really my only complaint.

They tried with Rainbow Six Patriots. But, as we all should know about Ubisofts intentions was to make a live service game and screw any change of getting a proper sequel.

This game was so damn good. Being able to unlock cosmetics through just playing without any micro transaction bullshit, terrorist hunt and competitive modes were fun as hell. Industry really went downhill

Back when online games were about shooting and not superpowers or 500 different gadgets

I miss when Rainbow Six was about serious, gritty military drama. Even when it wasn’t realistic it still felt serious and fairly grounded.

I desperately hope Ubisoft loses exclusivity to Tom Clancy stuff

Really? I liked both but Vegas 2 wasn’t even a real sequel. Same graphics, same engine. Just different maps and weapons. Felt more like dlc for the first game but sold at full price.

watching R6 go from this to Siege was depressing.

Been replaying this game recently and I discovered that despite all the talk of them shutting down the servers years ago, you can still find some people playing multiplayer and co-op on xbox, and I had no issues joining games. My heart jumped for joy.

  15. Terrorist Hunt coop was so fun, my friends and I spent a whole summer trying to beat that god damn Import/Export map.

I swear me and my friends broke the original R6 multiplayer when we discovered that if you and a couple friends had glock18s with the riot shield you could go undefeated. Gameplay just turned into roman shield combat as every other player tried the same tactic.

I hate that they shut down the servers and ability to play co op with friends. Me and a friend i used to play with bought it on pc a few months back only to find out we cant play.

Breach and clear me if I’m wrong, but back then, in the first Las Vegas game you were able to command the AI with your headset no? Like giving commands like “stack up” and other swat stuff?
For some reason I have this clear memory of it but I but a child at the time.

Was so funny playing terrorist hunt with your friends when you could put your actual faces on your characters using the Xbox camera

Me and a new online friendo were talking about this the other day. What a game. It amazes me how Ubisoft have forgotten how to make good games

One of the first games I ever played on Xbox live. Was hard AF in certain maps too. The TTK for this game was crazy.

I made a post last week, this game has the best player customization of any shooter. Make your own camo pattern, gear that keeps in theme with the game and affects player stats. Weapon unlock through certain kill types.
This was the peak of FPS gaming. I wish the would re-release for modern consoles.

Why they went esport and not more good coop fun is beyond me.
