7800x3D PBO overclocking results

  1. I use an IS-55 cooler, so I hit the thermal limit rather quickly on high PBO. Your results might be better. The benchmark I use is Cinebench 24; with PBO -30, I get a score of 1100. The wattage plot might not make sense, but PBO -20 was slightly below the thermal limit, resulting in higher power draw.

I couldn’t find similar information on PBO for the 7800X3D, so I decided to gather it myself.

The measurements come from HWiNFO and are processed by [my python script](https://www.reddit.com/r/overclocking/comments/1dcmxi8/hwinfo_chart_comparison_python_notebook/).

My conclusion is that the 7800X3D doesn’t require a beefy cooler. It’s not only the best CPU overall but also the best SFF CPU. With PBO -25 and a PPT limit of 70 W, it runs at 75°C while maintaining much higher clocks than the default configuration.
