You realistically only need a certain amount which provides good airflow. Since your case supports all these fans, it would be best pratice to have all fan slots filled for maxium airflow possible in this huge case.
Hopefully these fans weren’t too much money as unless they were thermalright, ezdiy, asiahorse, artic fans, etc, they can be 100s$ more than I would spend on fans. I am assuming based on this large case and the custom loop cooling that money is not an obstacle here.

My thought process is “6 fans running at 800RPM will move the same amount of air as 3 fans running at 1600RPM, but those 6 fans at 800RPM will make a whole lot less noise than those 3 fans at 1600RPM.”

Is this the case that got shredded by GN a couple of years ago? A thousand fans or so, but all for show, because all of them are choked by those glass panels so air flow and cooling sucked anyway…

I’ve seen tests that show too many fans actually hurt your airflow. It’s more about the positioning of the fans that matters.

One intake delta fan is enough. Anything more is just to make it look prettier or bring down noise levels.
Also, the configuration in the image is just silly. 14 exhaust fans vs 4 intake fans that are choked by a glass front panel. Plus, they’re just cheap aliexpress fans.
