Lost another battle ! Always getting tough players ! No way I can reach pk9 now as only one battle left to play….Thats my final season of playing and will never participate again…Why Pubg ?
Btw I had collected 2 million pops from last few month to finally play one complete battle which I wanted to win till the end…. So frustrating & heart breaking
However, unless it happens in classics or the event mode, nothing in this game is relevant, important, or worth spending time on.
Just play the actual game, and ignore the sideshow nonsense.

It’s a money spending contest, not a popularity battle, and it’s literally evil.
The system is made to screw you up badly when losing, in order to push ppl into spending money. For example you could win a battle with very little pop (15000 Vs 5000) and get like 25+, but if you lose to ur opp even though you have a crazy amount of popularity (300k Vs 500k) you’re getting scrap like +9 or +13 because of the stupid point deduction system. 50% is too much.
Oh and don’t forget the oil money and the carders. Fk this shi

i participated in this like 2 times and never again. some of these battles are completely one-sided and unfair.

Popularity event is expensive. You should only play the last 5min 3min before the end of the match to avoid to put max popularity unless your opponent get already a lot. Its wiser to spend your uc on skins i think.

My total popularity is 403k and you are getting more than this in one battle so I don’t know which one should be the easy player for you hehe

You need to understand matchmaking and point calculation first before taking popularity battle seriously. First round is based on your popularity level, the rest of the rounds are based on how much you’ve raised in previous round. Let’s say previous round you’ve raised 100k, your current round’s opponent will have similar popularity count from previous round and you shouldn’t settle for less than 100k. Each round will get more expensive, you will have to lose a round with low popularity count to reset your matchmaking algorithm when it gets too expensive for you. Don’t show your move too early, only start raising popularity count at last 60 seconds of a round. Point calculation for victory is your points + 50% of opponent points, for defeat is 50% of your points only. I’ve reached top pk for few times already, all I can say it’s a pay to win contest, pk9 is not achievable without spending money and playing smart.
