I can’t believe they cancelled this. It would have made so much sense, especially in the light of edgerunners. Like Lucy we too would have gone to the moon.
Not sure I have faith Cyberpunk 2 is going to be as big or as epic as CPNK 1. I also admit I dont want to have to wait 8 years for a sequel. (I think a sequel would come much faster, maybe 5 years, but its tough to say.

Space is a rough environment and if CDPR does it, I hope they do the research compared to Cyberpunk 2020 Near Orbit/Deep Space supplements. Lunar colonies will not be flat but conical or cylindrical so that a centrifuge can provide a decent amount of G for people to live and be able to return dirtside. Crystal Palace or one of the O’Neil colonies would be a cool place to hang out. However, those places aren’t as unlawful and crazy as Night City. Gunfire in a Earth city is one thing, gunfire in space, completely different. Especially with weapons that shoot through walls lol.
