I stopped watching reviews pretty much completely. No point in watching boring graphs with FPS of games I won’t play for a product I won’t buy. Very very few reviews are actually entertaining.

Hardware Unboxed is the most well rounded. Not perfect, but not likely to offend.
Jayztwocents, gets a lot of hate on here, for piss poor reasons. He is not really a reviewer, or news channel, he is just a guy that does stuff. That and, he is one of the few that still advocates for watercooling.
GN’s Steve suffers “more is more” his reviews are filled with irrelevant data. And his news, lives off pushing the envelope. And unfortunately, as with any “news” people read the initial story, not the correction… this was the case with the LTT story. But, with the sheer devotion he has, it doesn’t matter.
On the topic of LTT, simply put no other outlet can match their reach.

I honestly tend to prefer Monitors Unboxed over HUB, their tech reviews are solid enough but they don’t really test power consumption thoroughly which is a big deal when I have a small room with poor insulation. A non-OCed 3070 turns it into an oven during the summer…
GN is excellent for cooler and case reviews, enough said. I’m still running a CM H500 Mesh based on their review of it and it’s an airflow champ, the Peerless Assassin is also a modern GOAT but I may replace the fans with Noctuas someday for the best of both worlds.
Jay is alright for general tech tips, his hardware reviews are more generic which is fine for average consumers but he also tends to go very strong on his gut which isn’t as reliable as raw data. His respect for EVGA was nice, shame Nvidia pulled the stunts they did.
Dawid is great for misc tech stuff more leaning to PC, while Austin Evans does a lot of general misc tech which is always fun to watch.
Daniel Owens has some decent content as well, more lengthy but he tends to be more straightforward about things.
Last but not least, DigitalFoundry is always educational and offers great technical insight to games themselves. It was cool seeing the quirks of the new Fallout 4 update for consoles, even if I don’t play on console anymore.

Tech Notice never gets enough love in these discussions. He helps counter balance the other channels because his benchmarking is primarily productivity focused. I don’t use my PC exclusively for gaming and would like to see some more non-gaming (non-synthetic) benchmarks

for hardware reviews i come to one of the pc subreddits (including this one) since ive come to learn that about half the members have their lives revolve around buying the latest and greatest or breathing in the air or their psus. i watch GN and dawid does tech stuff though (one for entertainment and the other facts ill forget within 5 minutes).

If I’m buying a product? GN for sure, but I’ll crosscheck the numbers across GN, LTT, Jay, HW Unboxed, and basically anyone else who’s reviewed the product and is reputable. GN is the de facto for me, but it’s nice to know how the other outlets feel about it.
I don’t find I need a channel to put together the parts list I want either. I live near a MicroCenter so if I’m building a PC for a friend I always recommend one of their bundles + whatever GPU I can cram into their budget.
In my spare time? LTT. Some of the videos are pretty entertaining, and there’s a bit of nostalgia for me because I basically grew up on that channel. It fueled my passion for tech and is probably why I’m in the field that I’m in.
That said I can see how their content has lost the original charm, and they’ve made some pretty egregious mistakes with their data/findings in the past. I’ve stopped watching a lot of tech YouTube nowadays though. Not sure if it’s because I have less time or if it’s gotten less entertaining as time has gone on.
