I was listening back to the perk jingles and realized besides being a banger, the Who’s Who jingle has some strange story going on? Like most of the perk jingles are just like “drink this and this will happen” but Who’s Who sounds like some kind of self contained story about an imposter(?) identity crisis(?) thing. It has quite literally got me asking who’s who in the song and of course I couldn’t find anyone else talking about a niche perk jingle’s lyrics so I wanted to hear what others thought.

Spilt personality disorder maybe? I dunno really I just like how it sounds

  2. Have you not heard the mule kick jingle or the full pack a punch jingle? Those tell cool stories too

Sounds like the singer drank it, got into an accident to summon his other self, he was fascinated that it worked

But much like in the game the shadow player isn’t entirely them, the singers other was potentially twisted. The police siren suggest the Other commit a crime and pinned it on the singer, who tried to talk the cops into seeing it.

The couch could indicate the singer died, and the ending tune being the same as when you revive yourself means the Other has replaced him

    potentially my favorite jingle.

The sirens, the overlapping “YOU’VE GOT THE WRONG MAN, NOT WHO I AM”, the hype outro, it’s so fire

plus “I feel bad, but not as bad as me” is such a damn good line in context with the perk

  6. Honestly? Thank you for making this post. I feel less alone about thinking about this

A little bit mind-fucky with the guy basically talking to/about himself, but it goes hard. One of the best jingles imo
