I bought be quiet Pure power 12 M 1000 W and I notice that one of the cables from MOBO connector was pulled out. Can you help me identify from where is this small cable? I have old 500W for comparison.

It’s a PSU, you don’t really want to MacGyver that shit, unless you really know exactly what you are doing..

    Brother, return that.

Be Quiet has really solid customer service and you likely won’t have to wait long to get the new one.

Do not try to fix that PSU on your own. Be safe.

Don’t use it, just send it back.

Send it back and have a space psu on hand. You’re going to risk damaging other parts or your house with fire

So contact BeQuiet to send you a new 24-pin cable. It’s that easy. I’m sure they would rather send you a new cable than to go through the whole RMA process.

Also, I’ve made hundreds of custom psu cables. This is not something you can just fix yourself without special tools.

Return it. You’d need to crimp a new pin onto that wire and also know 100% where it goes.

I made my own custom psu cables, but I’d still return this.

Got a multimeter? You can continuity test the pins to the pulled cable if you want. But ultimately, it’s a DOA product, you shouldn’t try to fix it unless you are absolutely sure you know what you are doing.

And I’m not convinced you do.

This is piss easy to fix but you clearly don’t know how so send it back and get a replacement it’s that simple.

Return it in store and make them deal with the RMA

  11. There is no wire in pin 20 of the picture 6/7 which (if it is the motherboard side) is a +5v line. That said, I highly recommend contacting Be Quiet and talking to them to see if you can either get a new 24-pin cable sent or RMA the whole unit. If you are unable to RMA or contact them then you may be able to get a new cable set for the Be Quiet PSU which removes the need for you to futz around with the cable – if you couldn’t work out what pin was missing then chances are that you don’t know enough to fix it without risking damage or fire.

Then rma and send it back?
Do you need your hands held with every decision?
