To be fair, it’s a game from 2013 and a port from 2015 – 60fps was still the standard back then for AAA PC games and still a pipe dream for AAA console games

Given that the precedent was the PC port of GTA IV, which had (and has) real trouble of maintaining 60fps on most configs of the era, I can understand why they touted that as a feature. At least GTA V can offer a high frame rate experience, so long as you’re content with 188fps or less.
