All Starfield does is crash on my new high end pc. Dont care about the expansion till the game actually runs without crashing. Tried everything to fix it but nothing stops Starfield from crashing.

Imagine, how much better Starfield would be with these theme from the start, instead of one good sci-fi side quest and 1000 generic planets with bandits-filled outposts.

I recently got hooked on Starfield again after the previous update. The new option to turn off dialogue camera and play it Skyrim style made a huge difference for me

Cant wait to play loading screen simulator again. Want to do quests in neon? Well guess what, that city is broken up by 3 loading screens so when you gotta do a fetch quest, leave building (loading) go to the other side of neon (loading) go to the underground (loading) walk into the building to talk to someone (loading) and then repeat to turn the quest in. How about collect the 50 books? Your lucky if it’s only 3 loading screens per book, that’s 150 loading screens. Like it’s not 2012 anymore, we have better technology then this now and that’s only 1 of many things wrong with this game.

This game still has potential. I’m hoping for a Cyberpunk/No Man’s Sky kind of turn around. I was day-one on CP2077 and NMS – both of them grew up into wonderful experiences.
Starfield, hopefully, just needed more time to cook. Glad to see they aren’t giving up it.

I’ve seen some people compare a Starfield revival to Cyberpunk. It is not. When the Phantom Liberty came out and Patch 2.0 came out, a lot of people said that Cyberpunk really felt like a different game. As a person who played it when it first came out, I can tell you that is objectively false.
Cyberpunk wasn’t a different game because it was the same game. The major changes were the skill tree and the fixing of the bugs. Congrats, there is shooting in a car, but I rarely felt the need to even care unless it was part of the mission. Phantom Liberty was a great DLC. But at the end of the day, when I went through it again, it was THE SAME GAME. The core of Cyberpunk was always good, but it was very buggy so some people just literally dropped it and never experienced it. I’ve heard of others on console where they couldn’t even get it started or could play it stably. But nothing has change, the same overall game loop, story and role playing. All that has stayed the same.
The problems with Starfield isn’t something you can just fix and change. The problem with Starfield is the core philosophy of the game. Something that is unlikely to change with just a DLC.

I actually bought the Deluxe version of the game, so I’m getting this DLC…but I don’t think I’m even going to play it. Starfield just…wasn’t…great.
And this DLC looks very story focused. And that’s not the part of Starfield that needs fixing for me. I wanted to see better spaceship utilization.
This game is just Fallout 4 but worse. But the one thing it does have over Fallout 4 is the spaceship. It’s just a shame flying the spaceship is so bad. Space combat is bad. Docking is bad. And other than that it’s just a fast-travel device.
