At work just noticed some of the little resistors(?) On a 3090 were not only wonky, but making contact with each other. It tested fine, its second hand, will this effect anything
i would reseat them to order … that is wonky as shit and probably bad self repair or so… if it came out of factory like that then it went by at every inspection…

Everywhere there is a crooked cap you can see a big pad joining 4 caps together. Capacitance adds up in parallel, so instead of using a single bigger cap, 4 smaller caps are used here.

What brand of card is that? This type of tolerances drops this board to an IPC class 1 device. I would hope that electronics manufactures would at a minimum conform to IPC class 2 specifications for a higher end video card. Not that this device will not work as it is but there is a higher possibility of failure. You can google IPC Class Definitions for how and why you would care about this type of thing.

That’s normal, the way they are soldered the components align themself because of the capilarity with the liquid solder.
So if it’s tiny pads made for one component it get perfectly aligned but if it’s a larger pad for multiple ones it’s possible the solder spread more and they can drift a bit, but it’s not an issue.
