Npcs fighting yeah its normal if you go to areas where gang territory border each other. You can also run into cops vs gangers too. I like it, it makes the city feel alive instead of requiring you to make anything happen.
Trauma fighting Tyger Claws yeah? I killed off the Tygers and a little while later I got a thank you text from trauma. Think they threw a few eddies my way too.
