I think the vocalist’s voices sound similar, but besides that it’s a stretch.

Very much a stretch. There’s some non-verbal vocalics and there’s a few notes in common, but everything else is different.

I don’t hear it, but these are just two of my favorite themes in both games.

I hear it. Even sounds like Gate K9 is using a sped-up vocal track from Witcher 3. Tbh, i expected a bit more crossover between the 2 soundtracks. Good on CDP for not going overboard with their easter eggs.

I hear it initially during a direct comparison, but it fades from section to section.
You’re not crazy, but I’d say this is more of a happy accident then a reference.
Maybe they used a same general scale to get the vibe right? It’s been sometime since I was in a music class so could be wrong there.
