I have not much knowledge when it comes to Overclocking and Undervolting.
When I had the 3060Ti I used MSI to create a custom Fancurve that allowed me to let the Card run really quiet by setting it that that Temp is prioritized over power at 80°C so it would "Powerlimit" itself without searching for a good manual Powerlimit myself.
I intend to do the same for the 4080, but since the Card is new is there any detrimental factor I am overlooking? Would something overheat inadvertently with this method?

I know about the Silikon Lottery, so how does he do such "blatant" claims?
What is the downside of his Method? Would raising the whole curve not make it use more mV in idle?
I know my GPU can Boost clock to 2800+ if I use default settings so should I do what he does, look at what the Card uses for mV and just try a lower number?
I tried it by having Ghost of Tsushima run in the Background at Ultra Uncapped with the 900mv at 2550Mhz seems to work.
What is the "worst" that could happen? Does this approach mess with 1% lows? Or is my Temp method "better"?
I am inexperienced in this, since I just want mostly plug & play without much hassle.

The easiest and best way to do it is to just simply oc the core by like 100 to start with, select the voltage point you want, then you want to select all of the points after that by holding shift and then drag them all down.
You can do it by adjusting each voltage point like some have said to me before some, but that’s psychotic for such minimal gains.
