The things is everyone likes the guitar riff when they hear it around the city or from Johnny so you can tell a lot about how well they actually *hear* (or don’t hear it) music when they then dislike the song. It’s absolutely not my preferred genre but the song itself is *objectively* well written and can be easily be covered in multiple genres/formats
