  1. Hi all!

Looks like this format was well received [last week](https://www.reddit.com/r/Cyberpunk/comments/1d3go9y/cat_alyst_a_short_story_inspired_by_a_card_from/), so here we are again.

Like we do every week, here’s a new short story inspired by one of the cards from our upcoming video game Into The Grid.

This is a way to expand on the narrative universe we have been working on since 2021, introduce more of its lore, and keep sharing content while we work on the game.

In this one, we explore the effects of a drug designed to “help” those who abuse cyber-augmentation (something NOT that common in our narrative universe) when used by a non-implanted hacker.

I’ll leave the first paragraphs below and you can check the full text of this one [here](https://flatline.games/craniumrush.html).

I hope you enjoy it, let me know your thoughts 🙂

    >*First, she felt the plastic part of the applicator against her left thigh. Then, her thumb pressed the top until an audible click gave way to the needle. The puncture hurt for only an instant, quickly overshadowed by a warmth that flooded Keetah’s body. Suddenly, she remembered to breathe and wondered how long she had been holding her breath. Her pupils had dilated; she could tell by how the light now made everything look a bit hazy. Things felt like they were in slow motion, or, more accurately, like she was riding lighting.*

*Keetha found Cranium fascinating. Whenever she shot up, she felt invincible, like a goddess of the Grid. Things simply happened for her when she was on it. She was sure Cranium was serendipity in a syringe.*
