I was bored yesterday so I wanted to build a wooden open case and this is the result.
This beast packs a second hand (probably minercard) RX5700XT and a Ryzen 5600 with 3600mhz 16gb ram.
I did something stupid about 4 months ago and bought myself a 32 inch 165hz 1440p aoc monitor even though I sit like 50-60cm away from the pc.

Caseless PC is a terrible idea. Looks cool, terrible idea. Between static, dust, drink spill risk, animal/child/guest risks, there’s just way too many potential problems to not have a case around it.

I have that exact same wireless Xbox controller for my PC. I love that thing. But I have a wireless charging dock for it

I’ve been wanting to modify my desk to have a surface to put my computer under the desk, but still above the ground. I think it would be easy but I’m a little scared of drilling holes into the metal without being sure of what I’m doing, lol. Seeing homemade stuff like this always makes me want to say “fuck it, let’s find out!”

Apparently I need my eyes checked because I didn’t find the computer until the 2nd picture. I love the simplicity and low cost of it. I won’t judge for the monitor, I had been using a curved 32 inch for my Xbox and recently made the swap to desk and computer. White screens while web browsing make me feel blind but it’s amazing for gaming.
Find it a case my dude, this is just asking for problems
You should probably actually buy a case. That will be ok temporarily, but I wouldn’t leave it like that
Well you won’t need more air cooling. I’d mount the PC on your wall, and get a monitor arm. Cool build tho
Not bad. Only thing I’d recc is ergonomics. A good water bottle comes first, as does some Foundation Training.
