Authentic Classic Erangel Custom Game

Is this something you would be interested in participating in? Please let me know in the comments.

I’ve been thinking about doing a Classic Erangel custom game to recreate the classic PUBG pre-release experience as closely as possible.

• NO bots (of course)
• 99 or 100 human players would be really cool, although I have no idea if anyone would show up, much less this amount
• NO emergency pickups
• No choppers (hopefully)
• No folding shields
• No blue zone grenades
• Only the weapons that were in the original release (pre-release): No Beryl, no Mk47 Mutant, no Bizon, no Scorpion, no M79, and so on.
• no Heavy stock
• Lower spawn rate for weapon attachments
• Etc etc etc

Some settings like care package guns is inevitably out of my control due to the limitations of custom game settings.

I’m thinking TPP Squads and/or TPP Solos, at least.

I don’t remember exactly when FPP was introduced on PUBG Console but I do remember that FPP used to have duos and solos. FPP Solos, for example, would be cool.

Streaming and uploading recordings of the match(es) online

I’m thinking about streaming with reasonable delay (at 1080p 30 fps) and/or recording at 4K SDR or HDR and maybe publish it online.

The game was released with 4K resolution and HDR support on XBOX One X targeting 30 fps (although not with much consistency). The game looked (and still looks) great in HDR and I want to re-create that graphical fidelity if possible.

I would likely step back into a observer/spectator role to focus on recording/streaming.
