As in, they’re likely gonna show more of the Dark Aether and what was left of Aether itself?

Look, the thing is if you like something, there will always be a glimer of hope for it to be good. But as for Bo6, there are a few things that may give you more hope:
bo6 will be the first cod under control of Microsoft with confirmation of game pass release, so if you have an xbox and game pass, you will be able to play the game without forking out money for the full price game.
Bo6 will have new zombies and multiplayer lead devolpers.
Bo6 seems to have gobblegums returning and what seems to be a heavy focus zombies due to a lot of the vault edition stuff to be zombie related.
If leaks are to be believed 2 maps at launch or possibly 1 map at launch and second to arrive in season 1.
With marketing, it seems they are trying really hard, most likely Microsoft wanting a significant title on their console
4 years development time
2 years play tested
But I reckon you have the right idea to keep being sceptical because these last few years of cod have been a mess, and their focus has been more towards war zone than the other modes, but mw3s later seasons seem to be shifting the focus to MP IMO
