Almost the same setup than some of ours. We played Quake 3 and HL with mods, BF, sometimes CS1.8, etc.
Some of the very few pictures that you can also smell just by looking at them!

Ooooo I see a flat crt monitor – man I had one and it was the best monitor. I got it like right before lcd came out and, although heavy, it had 2 dvi inputs and did PiP like a TV. I used to play my Dreamcast on it and have my PC in the smaller window.
Nostalgia all around

That’s cool, most I ever hosted was 4 people, and it was for Left 4 Dead.

Counter strike 1.6… and Day of defeat. Peak of gaming.
I remember the 2002 Penny Arcade [Necrowombicon](https://www.penny-arcade.com/news/post/2002/06/20/necrowombicon-2002#) (what would eventually turn into PAX) was just a few days before the original demo release and we were all playing it. I don’t recall if they got a special pre-release or something, but I do remember we melted the extension cord we were given to hook up our bank of PCs.
