    I could personally do without any more rogue-likes, soulslikes, or GaaS games, but that’s me.

    Considering the genre now means “pick from 2 – 5 random powers sometimes, and also here’s an rng . . . level thing . . . otherwise go hog wild” it is harder not to land on that label.
